An awesome book by Dallas Clayton
Read once by myself, and once to my nieces (2 and 4) each. The small one was too overwhelmed with the tiny drawings and lost interest soon, and the older one commented that she found the part about the furniture, hats, cutlery and so on stupid - she knew nobody who was dreaming of such dull things! ;o) And anyway, she was dreaming even more awesome things than in the book, so there! (Well, she is at _that_ age now ;o) ).
It's certainly a colourful and not-too-average book, but to be honest, I didn't find it that "awesome" personally. Full of colour, fantasy and an unusual drawing-style, but I have seen children's books with that that appealed more to me.
